Ejercicios de caídas laterales para porteros (Parte 1)
Mejora tus caídas laterales: fuerza, técnica y reflejos esenciales para porteros efectivos.
Low lateral blocking exercise with diagonal step
- Diagonal step into the hoop and low lateral block:
The drill begins when the coach sends the ball. The goalkeeper must perform a diagonal step into the hoop, simulating the movement required to execute a low lateral block. The dropping technique must be clean, controlling the ball and ensuring the space is covered well. - Repositioning at the cone and falling laterally without a hoop:
After the first block, the goalkeeper must quickly reposition himself at the cone. Once in position, he will perform another lateral fall when his teammate hits the ball, but this time without being restricted by the hoop, allowing for greater freedom of movement.
Exercise of movement around a cone and lateral falls
- Traveling around the cone:
The drill begins with the goalkeeper moving around a cone, maintaining a play-oriented body position at all times. This means he must be ready to intervene at any moment, keeping his eyes on the ball and his teammates. - Side Drop and Block:
After completing the cone, the goalkeeper will perform a side drop to intercept a ball, making sure not to leave the ball in the middle during the block, guaranteeing safe and effective control of the ball. - Repetition in the opposite direction:
Next, the goalkeeper will repeat the same movement around the cone, but this time in the opposite direction, always maintaining the same body orientation towards the game. - Final lateral fall:
To finish, after moving in the opposite direction, the goalkeeper will execute a new lateral fall, completing the exercise with the same level of technique and precision.
Lateral displacement, falls and coordination exercise
- Sideshift to the near post:
The drill begins with the goalkeeper in their starting position, moving sideways toward the near post. This movement should be quick and controlled, always keeping their attention on the game. - Fall to the far post after a low ball:
Once positioned at the near post, the coach will send a low ball to the far post, where the goalkeeper must make a lateral fall to intercept the ball, making sure to cover the angle well and prevent the ball from entering. - Ladder Coordination and Ball Return:
After falling, the goalkeeper will quickly get up and perform a coordination exercise on an agility ladder. Upon completion of the coordination, he or she will receive a ball and must return it with his or her first kick, working on accurate passing. - Sideward movement and drop in response to a back pass:
To finish, the goalkeeper will move to the post, where he will receive a back pass and drop in to block the ball, simulating a dangerous play in the area.
Cone movement, lateral fall and blocking exercise
- Body-Oriented Movement Between Cones:
The drill begins with the goalkeeper moving between the cones, maintaining their body orientation toward the ball or the play at all times, so that they are always ready to intervene. The key is control and technique in the movements. - Drop to the far post:
Once the goalkeeper has positioned himself correctly after the move, the coach will send a ball to the far post, requiring the goalkeeper to drop to the side to intercept the ball, ensuring a clean block. - Receiving a Shot from the Box:
After the lateral drop, the goalkeeper must quickly reposition himself in the goal. A teammate, positioned outside the box, will take a direct shot that the goalkeeper must stop using technique and positioning.
