Ejercicios de caídas laterales para porteros (Parte 3)

Domina las caídas laterales: velocidad, técnica y estabilidad para porteros más efectivos.

Side fall, air blocking and coordination exercise

  1. Side-Drop Stretch to Familiar Side: The drill begins with the goalkeeper performing a side-drop stretch to a familiar side, focusing on landing technique and ball control to ensure an accurate save.
  2. Positioning and Aerial Blocking: After falling, the goalkeeper gets back up and positions himself correctly in the goal to receive an aerial ball thrown by the coach. The goalkeeper must execute a safe aerial block, working on his ability to capture the ball from above and maintain stability.
  3. Lateral Coordination Ladder: After the aerial block, the goalkeeper walks to a coordination ladder and performs lateral agility steps along the ladder, maintaining posture and a steady rhythm.
  4. Side Drop Back Pass: At the end of the ladder coordination, the goalkeeper positions himself next to the post, and a teammate sends a pass back. The exercise ends with the goalkeeper performing a side drop to block the low ball, maintaining control in a pressure situation.

Front stop, side shift and drop exercise

  1. Initial Front Stop: The drill begins with the goalkeeper in his initial position, performing a frontal stop on a thrown ball, focusing on ensuring control and correct posture.
  2. Lateral movements between cones: After the save, the goalkeeper performs lateral movements between two cones, maintaining a low and stable posture while moving, to reinforce control and agility in lateral movements.
  3. Lateral jumps: After completing the movements, the goalkeeper performs two lateral jumps, working on power and balance with each jump.
  4. Side drop from a thrown ball: To finish, the coach throws a ball to the goalkeeper's side so that he can execute a controlled side drop and block the ball, ensuring the final intervention of the exercise.

Exit exercise, lateral falls and coordination

  1. Short exit between coordination ladder: The exercise begins with the goalkeeper making a short frontal exit while advancing between the coordination ladder on the ground, without tripping over it, working on quick feet and precision in supports.
  2. Side Fall to Known Side:At the end of the run, the goalkeeper executes a controlled side fall to a previously designated side. This action focuses on falling technique and body control during lateral movements.
  3. Lateral coordination on the ladder and landing in a stretch:After the first landing, the goalkeeper performs a lateral coordination movement along the ladder, maintaining a stable posture. Upon completing the movement, he performs a landing in a stretch to block a ball thrown to the opposite side.
  4. Positioning and receiving a shot:After the last drop, the goalkeeper gets back up and positions himself correctly in the goal to receive a shot from a teammate and make the final intervention of the exercise.

Lateral fall and repositioning exercise

  1. Side Drop to the Far Post: The drill begins with the goalkeeper positioned next to the post. From this position, he or she performs a side drop toward the far post, working on accuracy and drop technique to cover as much of the goal as possible.
  2. Reset and Drop to the Near Post: After the initial drop, the goalkeeper quickly recovers and moves around an outside cone. He then performs a lateral drop to the near post, focusing on quick, controlled movement.
  3. Final Dip to Start:To finish, the goalkeeper returns to the side where they started the drill and prepares for one last throw. This time, they perform a dip toward the ball, working on the range and strength of the movement to reach the ball and cover the area safely.
