Ejercicios de velocidad de reacción para porteros (Parte 1)

Mejora tus reflejos y velocidad de reacción: porteros más rápidos, atentos y efectivos en acción.

Passing and reaction exercise in limited space

  1. First-time pass exchange:
The goalkeeper and goalkeeping coach begin by making quick first-time passes, using proper technique to maintain accuracy and speed. This exchange takes place within a space marked by cones, developing the goalkeeper's mental agility and coordination.
  2. Unexpected hit:
In one of the passes received by the coach, he will make an unexpected hit of the ball, directed at the area delimited by the cones.
  3. Reaction and blocking:
The goalkeeper must react quickly to the shot, adjusting his position to safely and efficiently control the ball, emphasizing both blocking technique and quick decision-making.

Reaction speed and decision-making exercise

  1. Start with simultaneous kicks:
The drill begins with two goalkeepers standing in front of their respective mini-goals. Each goalkeeper kicks the ball simultaneously and with controlled force, directing it toward the mini-goals.
  2. Visual stimulation:
As both balls move toward their goals, the coach becomes the visual stimulus by raising one of his arms, indicating to the goalkeeper which side to prioritize.
  3. Reactive save:
The goalkeeper reacts quickly to the stimulus, moving to the indicated side to make a save on the corresponding ball, executing the technical gesture with precision and confidence.

Conditioned reaction speed exercise with mini balls

  1. Initial setup:
Four mini balls are lined up in front of the goalkeeper, separated by a safe distance that allows clear trajectories to be observed and precise movements to be executed. The coach or a teammate stands in front of the goal with a regulation ball.
  2. Development of the exercise:
    • The coach kicks the ball towards the goal.
    • Condition 1: If the regulation ball does not touch any of the mini-balls in its path, the goalkeeper must react quickly to intercept or block it, executing a frontal save or the appropriate technical action.
    • Condition 2: If the regulation ball hits one of the mini-balls, the goalkeeper must prioritize reacting to the deflected mini-ball, adapting to its new trajectory and using the corresponding technique (lateral drop, block, or clearance).
