Blocking and falling exercise with a weighted vest

  1. Aerial block: The exercise begins with the goalkeeper making an aerial block to a ball sent by the coach.
  2. Pass to teammate: After the block, the goalkeeper will send the ball to the teammate located on the edge of the area.
  3. Low front save: The goalkeeper stands in front of the coach to make a low stop to a ball sent by the latter.
  4. Side drop: After the frontal save, the goalkeeper repositions himself in the center of the goal to receive a ball sent by a teammate, performing a side drop to a known side.
  5. Free Finish: To finish the exercise, the goalkeeper stands back up and positions himself to respond to a free finish executed by another teammate.

Weighted vest stretch landing exercise with speed transfer

  1. Weighted Vest Start: The goalkeeper starts with a 5kg weighted vest. He performs two lunges, passing behind the cone on each one.
  2. Vest Removal: After completing the two falls with the vest, the goalkeeper removes the weighted vest.
  3. Falls without a weighted vest: The goalkeeper performs two more diving falls, following the same pattern of passing behind the cone, but this time without the weighted vest, seeking greater speed in the execution.

Exercise with a weighted vest for movements, aerial blocking and landing in a stretch

  1. Sideshift between cones: The goalkeeper begins the drill wearing a 5 kg weighted vest. He begins by sideshifting between the cones toward the post.
  2. Aerial block: When reaching the end of the cones, the goalkeeper must make an aerial block to a ball thrown by his teammate.
  3. Opposite post movement: After returning the ball, the goalkeeper quickly moves towards the opposite post.
  4. Side Dip: Once on the opposite pole, perform a side dip.
  5. Draw to the other post: After the lateral drop, the goalkeeper makes another stretch, this time towards the other post.
